Abhyasa is a performance platform, hosted at the Silambam Houston Cultural Arts Center. It is open to any Houston arts student (post-arangetram), and aims to provide a platform for emerging artists to present full-length traditional repertoire performances. Silambam provides the venue (at no cost) and techs (at minimal cost), and performers will are able to invite friends and family to watch, and in the process gain stage experience.
