Why Should you consider Sponsoring a Silambam Houston program?
We are Houston’s premiere Indian classical arts organization, designated in 2023 as a ‘Houston Cultural Treasure’. We reach tens of thousands of students, families, and audience members each year through community classes, outreach programs in schools, libraries and museums, hosted performances through our ArtStream concert series, and our biggest event each year - a performance at the Miller Outdoor Theater.
Our Miller Outdoor Theater performance is typically attended by over 3000 people live, and over 5000 online viewers.
Our website averages over 3000 pageviews per month.
Our three studio locations in Pearland and the Heights serve the families of over 180 students who visit our studios each week.
Your sponsorship will garner excellent visibility for your company/brand, in addition to supporting highly impactful work that
raises the profile of Indian arts and culture in Houston and beyond
innovatively integrates Indian arts into STEM, social studies, and ELA education in K-12 settings
brings world-famous Indian classical artists to Houston audiences.

More about Silambam Houston
Silambam Houston is Houston's premiere hub for Indian Classical Arts, with arts education, K-12 and community outreach, arts presentation, and arts performance activities in ten different Indian classical and traditional art forms under a single non-profit umbrella.
We seek to increase the appreciation and understanding of Indian artistic traditions across cultural boundaries, through comprehensive arts education, outreach, and exceptional arts programming, and by creating opportunities for young artistes to develop, perform, and collaborate.
Our community of Board members, faculty, staff, and supporters all share the Silambam values of artistic integrity in exploration, the pursuit of excellence, and meaningful contribution to community. All of our programming and activities are rooted in these core values.
In the last few years, Silambam Houston has experienced huge growth, fueled by its unique artistic vision and its reputation for high standards. While the unprecedented demand for our programming is gratifying, space has become a significant issue, handicapping our ability to create and present our varied and stellar artistic programs to meet this increased interest.
In 2017, we launched our capital campaign to build an arts venue in the Pearland/Clearlake/South Houston area. A small, symbolic groundbreaking was held on February 21, 2020, and the space was formally inaugurated on May 29, 2021.
The Silambam Houston Cultural Arts Center is now a major hub for Indian classical art and culture in the Houston area, in addition to hosting various other arts events.
